His career path transitioned to the United Nations in South Africa, eventually returning to their headquarters in NYC. Following graduation, Michael served in the Foreign Service in Mogadishu, Somalia for two years. Michael graduated from Highland High School, then went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and a Juris Doctor from NYU. ![]() Michael was born on Apin Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Michael and Frances (Passanando) Anzivina. Anzivina, 79, a dual resident of Highland, New York and NYC, passed away after a brief illness on March 3, 2021, at Mid-Hudson Medical Center.
